Rochester is my hometown, and 10 years ago I was fortunate to buy my home in the Lyell Otis neighborhood. I needed a single-story house for my father, who I was taking care of at the time. As a minister at Aenon Missionary Baptist Church, I teach the importance of family and community.

I am a compassionate leader who values partnership and collaboration. I use these skills every day as the volunteer coordinator for the Rochester City School District, connecting individuals and organizations with RCSD students.

The Monroe County Legislature has failed our community that’s why I decided to step up and fight for equity and justice. This is not a new fight for me, for years I have been supporting the community as a board member for Cameron Community Ministries and the Jordan Health Foundation and volunteering with the Gateways Music Festival. I’m running for County Legislature in the 28th District to be a voice for OUR community. I pledge to fight for racial justice, health equity, and living-wage jobs.

Racial Justice

  • I will partner with County Executive Bello and Mayor Warren to implement the recommendations from the RASE commission creating a more equitable community.

Health Equity

  • I will fight for additional resources to support mental health services and address healthcare disparities that disproportionately impact black and brown people.

  • I will advocate for the creation of job training programs that create pathways to living-wage jobs, and support our youth by creating more employment opportunities for them.
